Rather than having to wake up you wished you spent a little more time dreaming of how you could beat the Stormtroopers or Darth Vader even swinging your lightsaber through that virtual state of mental vortex you are in. Your awesome dream.

Or you might just have been reminiscing those earlier days when even non-geeks found it cool that you played with LEGO, AKA being a kid and more even… because you were quiet.

But what could have been a further successful mashup of Star Wars and LEGO now just turned out to be our worst nightmare.

That’s right: a LEGO Darth Vader mashup alarm clock. You can even get a Stormtrooper. For around $40 only.

Cool? Maybe but in all honesty nothing that wakes me up digitally is awesome.

Then I thought, “What if some McDonalds loving SAHM fancied this.

I don’t think I’m going to hit the beach today.

We would maybe make an exception for BigFoot or Alf but other than that, no pet animals are not the real deal. And so thinks Nick Drummond whose pictures of his preferred pet animal we gladly stole for this post.

Why? Because we can he keeps an AT-AT that’s why. And if you don’t think that rocks, well then maybe you shouldn’t be reading frankylicio.us.

But maybe that’s the wrong thing to do.

So it seems that rumours of a Dark Horse – Batman cross-over comic could become reality? Who knows whether the dream of many a nerd will ever be realised. What it did bring though is this awesome drawing by Dave Dorman.
