NASA, who have been doing some ace stuff online recently, have now launched their free NASA iPhone App [iTunes link]. The app is exactly what you expect: an easy an quick way to follow the news, new photos and videos of missions, explorations.

NASA has discovered a new ribbon in the heliosphere, forcing every heliosphere scientist to review their knowledge and discoveries. Billions and billions of $ just went up in dust.
The galaxies NGC 4402 and NGC 4522, respectively, as seen by the Hubble Space Telescope’s Advanced Camera for Surveys: mega size pictures (30 and 40MB each).
