But times seem to have changed lots for the Redmonder software company. Where before it was all hype, with Windows 7 and it’s much hyped touchscreen capacities the freezes occur on TV and launch day already.

Once can always happen but multitouch really doesn’t seem to be Windows 7′s top strength as can be seen in a second video.

Here they come, Master Chief. Halo anime upcoming

This week was great news for anime fans. Apparently MS is also working at an anime version of Halo.

Microsoft is teaming with five production houses for a series of seven short films called Halo Legends, reports the Los Angeles Times. The five production houses are some of the biggest names in the industry: Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation. The creative director overseeing the production is Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina.

To be honest I am totally not interested in this merger, Google FTW, but I just want to score for the YaBing! instead of Microhoo! word. FYI, the deal seems back on.

Failed viral marketing from Microsoft.

O.M.G.I.G.P. Oh my God, I’m gonna puke. A failed and withdrawn viral marketing campaign from Microsoft to promote the new private surfing mode in IE8. Note that most browsers already have such a mode since at least half a year.
