Disney Zombies
For all you Zombie fans. I must say that personally I never got into the whole zombie craze, I grew up early 80s with Battlestar Galactica and V (Visitors), so I’m all about ‘My Ceylons and skinned lizards will eat your zombies alive!’. But I guess I’m repeating myself and Snow White does look hot!

Nobody knows how long Dubai will survive, although I do know someone who bought her second villa there perfectly abusing the current local economic situation -maybe I should reconnect with her daughter, but this concept art is great and would probably make Marvelland the most amazing theme park. Cocktails, They Finally Understand It
If it weren’t for the disappointing video I would never have followed the link to the NYT entry to happily discover they finally understood it: yes, cocktails should be strong. Not because we like our booze, but more because it’s tradition.
It all dates back to when cocktails became popular and why they became popular: the 20s, the era of the great prohibition. Alcohol was disgusting, import quality was barely drinkable and bartenders went on the search to improve the drinks. Born were classic cocktails.
As for the video… on the continent better mixologists have been shaking their classics that way since at least 20 years.

Apple Paris Store in Louvre Opens on Saturday
For those who have never seen an Apple Store from the inside, check out this Flickr Gallery from Le Journal du Geek, who were invited to the press event before Saturday’s opening. If you live in the area, the 5,000 first visitors receive a T-Shirt in good old Apple tradition.
