Visual glitches in games have always existed and probably were first highlighted to non-hardcore gamers crowd when the “Enter The Matrix Game” hit public status and was literally littered with game glitches. But small annoyances and bugs can become an inspiration and part of creative process and Robert Overweg, a Dutch photographer in the virtual world who has exhibited throughout the world, has taken up the challenge to create a series of photos based on glitches in games. The Best Damn Mouse Pads in History. Mousewhats?
Apparently people do still use mouse pads, even in 2011. While most are more and more switching to trackpads on their laptop and laser and optical mice so good that they even work on glass, certainly no-lifers gamers love their super speedy and glidery [sic] mousepads.
Debatably it is certainly to those that Etsy seller DesignNoy appeals with its collection of retro video games mouse pads.

I Don’t Know What’s Weird About These Wedding Cakes. Also Bacon.
Of course it is a fact that one has to be weird to want to marry in the first place but do you know what would be even weirder? To marry and have a buttnormal fugly wedding cake!
The main problem here of course being ‘Who defines what is weird?‘. Since this is my blog and not some weirdo’s, of course I am the sole and lonely only basement dweller judge of weirdness here.
Get used to it.
And that leads us to next question: ‘How weird do you have to be to waste your time compiling a collection of the weirdest wedding cakes?. Cakes which aren’t weird at all in the first place. You of course must be the highly coveted Dumbass of the Week, right?
Be fair, what’s weird about these wedding cakes?

I know you want to see a bacon wedding cake! You know you want to. Read more
LEGO & Darth Vader. Now Your Worst Nightmares and Morning Terrors
Know that feeling waking up in the morning? Your cell phone making horrible noises and annoying you with the sound of its alarm and the vibrations on your bedside cabinet? The nightmare of most of us or worst way to wake up.
Rather than having to wake up you wished you spent a little more time dreaming of how you could beat the Stormtroopers or Darth Vader even swinging your lightsaber through that virtual state of mental vortex you are in. Your awesome dream.
Or you might just have been reminiscing those earlier days when even non-geeks found it cool that you played with LEGO, AKA being a kid and more even… because you were quiet.
But what could have been a further successful mashup of Star Wars and LEGO now just turned out to be our worst nightmare.

That’s right: a LEGO Darth Vader mashup alarm clock. You can even get a Stormtrooper. For around $40 only.
Cool? Maybe but in all honesty nothing that wakes me up digitally is awesome.
Caprica Six is that you?
