Man tasered and punched by UK police. Probably terrorism act to come in for illegal recording of coppers

The video below shows how a man got tasered and punched by UK police on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham. The events occurred last weekend and show how the police make usage of the tasers and beat the person while laying on the floor, to control the offender/victim.

Should the police get tasers? Or should we continue the good ol’ tradition of Bobbies with a baton?

Although at the moment of writing the video only 380 views has, it is surprising that it hasn’t been pulled yet under ‘The Terrorism Act’ which doesn’t allow public photography or recording of the police forces anymore in the UK.

The act only applies to those regarded as such under reasonable suspicion.

Recording an instance such as this doesn’t raise that suspicion – and rightly so, too. I’d hate to think that the public can’t document issues of abuse conducted by the police.

Grant the problem is that the act can be invoked without the need to explain/justify the suspicions.

Agreed, the recording itself should still be and still is allowed especially in these circumstances. But far too often photographers and camerammen have been bullied under the threat of the Terrorism Act.

Luckily the video made it to both Sky News and the Daily Mail.

These filthy facists should have their balls tasered – 1000′s of men have died thinking they were fighting tyranny and freedom, behaviour like this is simply not acceptable.

It is not an offence at all in this country to photograph or film the police, but they could make your life very difficult under the anti-terror laws, lets face it, they have arrested grannys under the terrorism act. The law needs legalising.

This guys on the ball with regard to filming and the law:
