Probably it’s the old boring sod in me who still knows these two bands and 2ManyDJs by their original name, Soulwax. Now take all these three components: Nirvana, Sonic Youth and Soulwax and throw them in one bucket.
Add a festival finale to it, one of the top 4 festivals in Europe Rock Werchter, with its huge history, and this is what you get.
I am no fan of popular language and hype words, but I think this one certainly qualifies as EPIC.
I must admit that I have never seen the Mighty Boosh. I am no TV fan and other than BSG I probably am at least 4 years behind when it comes to TV Series. No I will not tell you that I am watch The Big Bang Theory weekly.
Anyway… this Star Wars meets Mighty Boosh mashup is cool. I actually might have to proxy Hulu again so I can pick up some Mighty Boosh now.
The idea beyond the BMW Simple Concept Tricycle is ace, even some of the aspects seem totally awesome not to mention the green value. Although I do doubt about ‘the height of a 5-series’, having had a 320 Coupé I can perfectly imagine the ‘comfort of a 3-series Coupé’.
But maybe the Bavarians had done better to chose another name for their concept vehicle because the Simple Concept Tricycle will not enter in production anytime soon. That’s how simple it is.

Amazing video, with silly soundtrack, shot at 1million (?) FPS by Werner Mehl but that’s kind of a give a way in the video.
Even if the first minutes are great, the capture becomes really interesting around 5 minutes in, when the impact of bullets on ballistic gel is shown. Especially the impact of hollow point bullets on the gel is rather, erm spectacular?
If you thought the zombiecalypse were everything you ever had to be afraid off, you might want to think again because these robots will destroy everything. Zombies and Sarah Connor.

Sadly the new trailer does not bring the release of more Pixar awesomeness any closer and we still will have to wait until Summer 2010 before we can see Toy Story 3. Until then we will have to drool on this.
