Unless you’re some kind of nerd who has stayed way too long in the cave and waited for your mum to clean your room, you problaby are no hardcore comics or superhero geek either. You might have watched most of Michael Bay’s recent productions and even found the first X-Men movie, as well as Wolverine Origins, awesome but chances that you know who has what power are… nihil.

Don’t fear though! Although we are not nerds ourselves, we do know how the internet works and generally manage it to find the nice small jewels out there on the main world wide web. A free service for our readers!

Not that I know what crack tastes like or does to one other than thinking that Ozzie Osbourne would be the person who has invented crack, just by mixing drugs together on one of his many regular evenings in front of the burning fire place.

I do know do how many hours of life Tetris has taken and if this era weren’t known for being a 5 minutes, what’s the next big thing now this would be the nemesis of Desktop Tower Defence or Plants vs. Zombies for those who love pwetty colours.

If you have 5 minutes to waste, don’t go here because soon you’ll be saying ‘Damn, I was only go to play this for 5′!

There was a time, not that long ago, when I actively published here and that of course did include Star Wars nerdery. Now most of that stuff has shifted to ForeverGeek and most of the time it’s even not me who manages the Star Wars drools and sexism over there. Times change.

And then there were bathing suits.

First I thought “W000t!”

Then I thought, “What if some McDonalds loving SAHM fancied this.

I don’t think I’m going to hit the beach today.

Experiment: Living Without Cell Phone

I am a fan of shiny gadgets. Actually, I like everything shiny except lip gloss. Recently, after more than a year with an Apple iPhone 3G I decided it were time to upgrade my phone.

Then the difficulty of life started: what upgrade to get? How will I be able to top the experience of the iPhone? There certainly can not be a better smartphone, user experience. Do I really want an iPhone 3GS? Actually I do want to wait for the NEXT iPhone, without then having to break the bank to get that model.

I started thinking and realised that 98% of my communication is done online. I am reachable by almost any online protocol, whether email, IM, Skype or Google Wave. My decision was helped by the fact that I had already sold my iPhone before even having shortlisted other models.

Here I am now, in my second day without mobile phone. Will I survive it? Read the complete journal here or follow the last 10 updates in the sidebar, complete with spontaneous status updates related to living without phone, a life without mobile phone in 2009.

Usain Bolt flies… on the track

For those who have missed it because they were drinking out while waiting for a Top Gear replay, Usain Bolt once more broke the 100m World Record: 9″58. Looking at his last 15m I would say that there’s room for improvement and he can go faster than 9″5. Can the human body though?

Probably this might be a cure for cancer. Or not. Who cares anyway?
This news just is too awesome to not mention:

I think we men got away cheaply there, imagine they would have told us to wear a bra! But yes, I entirely agree with the reasoning. I don’t have large breasts though.

It could only happen in my country of birth obviously. Wackos a gogo over there, first the girl who fell asleep while getting tattooed, and now the case of Audrey.

24 Year old/young Audrey is a professional and popular bus driver but on the verge of being fired for being Miss Nude Belgium 2009.

I was hauled before the director of human resources and he asked me to choose between my erotic career and my new career on the buses.
… He said that I had to sign a form pledging that I wouldn’t do any more nude pictures

There are no reports of any weird tattoos on her face, but darn… I have to catch a bus now!
